THEO 550 : Biblical Theology of Women in Ministry
Invites students to engage critically the discussion surrounding women in ministry in light of the biblical witness, interpretive issues, and contemporary scholarship and practice. It provides students with the language and tools to construct biblically and theological sound personal positions concerning women in ministry. It will also explore the diverse ways women have participated in and contributed to the life of the church over the centuries to help students place the contemporary debate over gender roles in the church in the larger historical context. Includes graduate level course work for the Pre-Seminary 4+1 program.
