Biblical Studies Major

The Biblical Studies major consists of 45 semester credits and can be earned as either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.

Specific Core Curriculum courses are required for this major including:

  • BIBL 100 University Seminar 
  • ENGL 212 Composition and Literary Analysis
  • 9 hours of Philosophy, including one logic-related course, one introductory course, and one upper-division course.
  • For a Bachelor of Arts:
    • One year of Greek or Hebrew (6-10 hours in 2 semesters)
  • For a Bachelor of Science:
    • BIBL 353 Intro to Biblical Languages and Software and a 3 credit Technology-related course (see your advisor for approved course options)

 

Take 3 credits from the following:

*must be the opposite testament from the Core Curriculum book study.
