Associate of Arts in General Education

The Associate of Arts in General Studies requires 60 credit hours. The Associate of Arts degree can serve as preparation to enter one of the Adult Studies programs, or it may serve as a terminal degree. Classes meet online, which enables students to maintain full-time employment while attending the University full time.

Electives

  • 11-12 credits in Humanities from two of the following areas: English Literature, Fine Arts, Communication, or Philosophy;
  • 8-9 credits in Behavioral or Social Science;
  • 7 credits in Natural Science;
  • 6 credits of B.S courses (Stats and Natural Science, Computer Science, or Geography);
  • 5-7 elective credits.
