Applied Biology (COL)
This online program is designed for students seeking a BS in biology who do not intend to pursue graduate studies in biology. Most biology graduate programs require extensive face-to-face training in laboratory skills and procedures which is outside the scope of this online program.
Through this program you will develop a foundational understanding of the principles that govern life at the molecular, cellular, organismal, and environmental levels. You’ll also learn how to incorporate and practically relate a Christian worldview to the field of biology and will be prepared for a variety of career opportunities in areas such as healthcare, education, conservation, or environmental services.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the Applied Biology program will be able to:

4. Effectively communicate principles of biology through oral means.
