Associate of Applied Science in Accounting (Online)
The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting is designed to prepare students for entry-level accounting positions in a variety of industries. This program combines foundational principles with practical, hands-on training in financial reporting, payroll, tax preparation, and budgeting. Students will develop essential skills in bookkeeping, software applications, and financial analysis while gaining an understanding of ethical and regulatory considerations in the accounting profession. The program integrates a Christian worldview. promoting integrity, stewardship, and social responsibility in business practices. Graduation will be equipped to pursue careers as accounting assistants, payroll specialists, tax preparers, bookkeeping professionals, or to continue their education in advanced accounting programs. This program emphasizes real-world application and includes opportunities for internships or experiential learning to enhance job readiness.
