PSYCA 224 : Psychology of Motivation and Change
Examines the internal and external factors that allow individuals to initiate and sustain changes in behavior. Explores empirically supported change strategies which can be applied individually and culturally, including different types of motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic), the stages of change, and the roles of attribution and cognition, self-efficacy, goal setting, and environmental influences in the process of personal and social transformation.
