American Sign Language

Introduces basic American Sign Language (ASL) skills, including fingerspelling, basic vocabulary, and grammatical structures. Students will develop visual receptive and gestural expressive skills according to the cultural features and values of the Deaf community.

Continues developing basic knowledge of fingerspelling, vocabulary, and grammatical structures according to the cultural features and values of the Deaf community. Students will strengthen visual receptive and gestural expressive skills to understand and express conversational American Sign Language.
