Digital & Graphic Design (Bachelor of Fine Arts)
Students interested in a comprehensive program in digital and graphic design using elements from both degree tracks may apply for the BFA program.
A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital & Graphic Design is comprehensive; no minor is needed.
Digital & Graphic Design BFA students must take COMM 113 and COMM 205 as part of the Core Curriculum requirements.
Students may apply for the BFA program by submitting a letter/email of intent with a work portfolio to the department faculty after completing 45+ credit hours and achieving at least a 3.0 GPA. Students should contact their advisor for further information on this process.

Take 3 credits of 300-400 level COMD or COMF electives.
Take 3 credits of 300-400 level ART related to graphic design.
Take an additional 3 credits of approved 300-400 level coursework in the Communications Department.
All communication majors are also required to complete an off-campus communication organization participation, membership, trip, or event before graduation.
