In addition to the major requirements listed below students must complete:

  • A minimum of 124 semester credits with a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  • All Core Curriculum requirements.
  • The requirements for either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts:
    • two additional science courses totaling at least 6 credits for the BS,
    • or two foreign language courses totaling at least 6 credits for the BA.
  • At least 36 credits of upper-division courses.

Requirements

Students may choose to complete two (2) or three (3) content areas within the core requirements for a minimum of 45 credits. If two content areas are chosen, one field may have 21 credit hours and the other 24 credit hours. If three content areas are chosen, each content area may have 15 credit hours each.

All courses counting toward the General Studies major must be a C grade or higher.
